We have done some impeccable research and discovered that Baby Cool’s real name was Beatrix Capulet. She was perhaps Vancouver’s most famous club owner and jazz singer in the 1930s and 40s, but is now little remembered.

We are back after a long Christmas break, which your authors and illustrator spent writing and plotting in various pubs and coffee shops in the Metro Vancouver area.
